Rev. Antoine T. Colvin

SENIOR PASTOR

HISTORIC LITTLE ROCK BAPTIST CHURCH

His Story

     Rev. Antoine Colvin was born on February 23rd   in Baltimore, Maryland and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Personal Savior at the age of 12 under the leadership of Rev. Johnny N. Golden Sr. at the New Unity Baptist Church. As a young man, Rev. Colvin has served and led various ministries throughout the church and Baltimore City.  Rev. Colvin has been equally blessed as a student-athlete at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore City to receive a full athletic scholarship in football to N.C. State University in 2001.

     Responding to the call of responsibility, Rev. Colvin returned home to assist his parents while continuing to complete his Educational studies at Towson University. In June 2006, Rev. Antoine Colvin received his Bachelors of Science degree in Communication Studies from Towson University.  After two years of Hearing God’s voice Rev. Antoine Colvin final accepted the call to the preach the gospel and proclaimed in his initial sermon “This Is Your Season” on November 1st 2008. Rev. Colvin was also thrilled when Errin Tucker answered his call to marriage on March 22, 2014. From this blessed union, the Colvin family welcomed Master Andrew Colvin on June 26, 2015 and Austin Colvin on October 4, 2018.  After serving faithfully as Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church of Guilford since March of 2014, Rev. Antoine Colvin was ordained in the GospelMinistry by the Rev. Dr. Tyrone P. Jones IV. Rev. Colvin completed his Master of Divinity program at Howard University with high distinction and honor in May of 2019. In gaining additional training to serve the Kingdom of God with excellence, Rev. Colvin served briefly as Executive Pastor at Christian Unity Baptist Church under the tutelage of Rev. Dr. Antione J. Hutchins Sr. before answering the divine call to become Senior Pastor of Missionary Union Baptist Church in Columbus, Mississippi. Rev. Antoine Colvin is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. He receives great strength and encouragement from the following scripture from Hebrews chapter 13 verse 8:   “Jesus Christ the Same yesterday, and today, and forever”.
